High-voltage repellents – learning the hard way

A harmless but long-lasting electric shock is an effective way to make sure martens stay away from your vehicle for good. The tested and certified STOP&GO high-voltage systems are designed for this purpose. They can be easily installed in the upper engine compartment. The principle behind all of the systems is the same — a power unit and a number of stainless steel contact plates connected via a power cable are installed in the engine compartment. The contact plates work similarly to an electric fence. If a marten comes into contact with one, it will receive an electric shock and will flee immediately.
